Own Boxes

Make your own boxes for 1/35th scale figures and armor.
The photo's should give you an idea what I am talking about
. I used CorelDraw x3 to create these templates in different sizes. The image of the Nazi symbol was downloaded and resized to fit, as was the letter image. The star was simply done with Corel, etc
You cut along the red marked lines to make flaps that are folded in to create a box
The flap is glued when shaped

Create own WW2 German Zeitbahn Tent

http://www.treefrogtreasures.com/detail.aspx?ID=3297
they seem to have camo tents available

Not sure what company makes these!?

The real thing

These sheets were apparently also used as raincoats as well as a tent

My first attempt

You can create your own German tents by using x4 triangles arranged to look like my design.
Add some extra flaps to glue together to form a pyramid-type design.

Cut along one 'pole' from bottom to top.
Use toothpick to roll tent-flap a little to show tent opening
I downloaded these camouflaged covers in triangle shapes and simply edited a little to fit inside the triangle. Copy and paste!
WW2 German Army Zeltbahn Tent
I am not sure about the camo colors: the black and white is obviously for winter
The SS also had one.....?

Waco Glider

I am Googling to find ideas on this WW2Glider to scratchbuild in 1/35th scale
